BLOGMAS | Em's 21st Birthday

Hello my lovelies and welcome to Blogmas day 13! 

So for today's post we're talking about Em's 21st Birthday which was on the 12th of December. 

I've mentioned Em quite a few times on my blog and she's featured on my Instagram a lot. Em is one of my favourite people on this planet, she is one of the loveliest, kindhearted, and most wonderful girls I've ever had the privilege to meet. And now, I honestly can't picture my life without her. Who else is going to fan girl over Shane Dawson with me and rave about conspiracy theories? *sings twilight zone*. 

In the words of Miss Vigrass, "It's my day." And as it was Em's day I figured we should do a whole Blogmas post about it! 

Exactly a month ago when we went out for Meg's 21st we went to a place called Revolution, but we all call it Revs. And we had such a lovely time in there that Em decided she wanted to go there for her birthday. So here we are again! I really love the vibe in Revs, it's really lovely and modern and feels really posh and up market without the overly expensive price tag. 

The majority of cocktails on their menu are two for the price of one, including their Christmas range, so naturally we all ordered two at a time. You have to order the same cocktail though to get the two for one offer. I ordered a porn star martini for £9.25 which works out at £4.63 each which is really good for a cocktail. I always feel so fancy when I'm drinking out of these shaped glasses. 

Gotta take a classic toilet selfie, are you even a girl on a night out if you don't do that? This is the only full outfit picture I got on the night and I know the lighting is a bit meh but I love this photo of Meg and I. Anyway, outfit wise I had my black ankle boots on from Tesco, standard black jeggings from Peacocks in their 'Kate' range, and a top I got recently from Yours for only £7.00! You can't see it too well in this lighting but it's a toned down lilac colour with bell sleeves that have extra fabric to tie into a bow. Also has a scooped neck which means it gives you a nice bit of cleavage but not too over the top. It's quite fitted and goes down quite long so I decided to tuck it in my jeans on this day, personally because I felt more comfortable. But I really love this top, I felt really gorgeous and to be honest a bit sexy. I think this is gonna look gorgeous tucked into a skirt of some kind as well. 

Once we were finally done taking selfies and all our cocktails arrived; our food eventually arrived. Last time I came I order the steak frites and it was actually delicious. The steak was so juicy and tasty so no surprise, I ordered the same thing again. 

I have a massive habit of always ordering the same things in certain restaurants that I go to. I don't know why, I just can't bring myself to order anything else. This picture is the one I took when we came for Megs' birthday and I was so hungry when it arrived that I didn't have any time to take a picture of it. It was pretty much exactly the same as this but this time round garlic butter was included. Surprisingly, it was actually very nice with the chips and even the steak! Have you guys ever tried garlic butter? 

After a lovely evening of wining and dining in Revs, we moved onto the classic Weatherspoons to have a couple more beverages. I only had a Pepsi Max simply because I just didn't fancy any more alcohol.  

And that was our night out with this squad. I had a fab time and I know Em had a wonderful birthday which is the most important thing!
