BLOGMAS | Christmas Gift Guide: Under £10!

Hello my lovelies and welcome back for another Blogmas post. It is officially day 16/17. As if it's nearly Christmas, just over a week to go! And even though I've completed all my Christmas shopping (before December even started) I know that a lot of people (including my friends and family) leave it all till the week before and then it's a manic rush because the month has caught up with you and you feel like you have no time to go and buy anything because Christmas is basically right up in your face.

But don't panic because Katie is here to save the day; if you've been here a while then you'll know I post a Christmas Gift Guide every year in December. It's become a bit of a tradition on this blog even though every single year the gift guides all feel similar. But that's not the point is it? We all love a Christmas Gift Guide.

So I've decided to focus this one more on how I've bought for Christmas this year. Every thing I've bought people (per item) has been under £10. Not on purpose but simply because there has been so many gorgeous products and sets this year that have been so cheap but so lovely to give people as gifts. So what I'm gonna try and do is mix both gifts for him, her, and couples into one and to divide it into the categories of: makeup, skincare, perfume/ body spray, bath/ shower products, and homeware.

Just a reminder, these gifts wont cater for everyone you know but also remember that no one knows your family members and your friends better than you. So trust your judgement when you're buying presents for them. Anyway, let's get on with the gift guide.

I'm gonna start with makeup. The beauty industry is such a big hype these days that it's no surprise that the majority of girls probably ask for makeup or get gifted makeup on Christmas Day, myself included in this category. If there are everyday makeup items you know your friends use or family use that would benefit them a lot, e.g. powder, eyebrow products, concealer, blusher, mascara - basically all your standard bits and bobs. Then these would be fab gifts too, especially as the majority of those things are under £10 in the drugstore anyway. But I think for Christmas and birthdays it's just nice to treat the people you're buying for to something they would like but would never buy for themselves.

Everyone ends up getting some type of bath or shower gel gift set or single present at Christmas time, and why? Because it's practical. Even if it can sometimes seem like a bit of a cop out, let's be honest, we're all gonna still use it. And what's better than a nice relaxing bath or refreshing shower with a burst of gorgeous fragrance?

As I've got older (even though I'm only 20) homeware has become something I fall more and more in love with each day. So is there anything more homely and cosy than having elements of candles, room spray, throws, cushions etc in your room to make it more homely to you? Everyone loves homeware at Christmas; especially great for couples too.
