Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a nice half term or have had a nice half term. I created this look back in September, but have been pretty busy since then. I was inspired to create this look based on this image below which I found on Pinterest.
I am well aware that we are right in the pit of autumn now which means we've pretty much fully transitioned. But I loved the look I created and I think it's the perfect makeup to wear in the awkward month of when it's not summer anymore but not quite autumn yet. SIDE NOTE: As I created this look waaaaay over a month ago, I may not remember every single product I used, but I shall try my best!
Firstly I took a warm brown ish shade on my Makeup Revolution E103 fluffy brush as my transition shade to make all the upcoming colours blend together nicely.
Using the same brush, I took a small pallet from Technic and used this light shimmery peach shade and ran that through my crease.
Then I decided to blend it all over the lid also.
Taking Copper Dream from Makeup Revolution's Eyes Like Angels pallet and applying that just on the lid with a flat eyeshadow brush.
Using that fluffy blending brush from earlier, applying a small amount of Copper Dream on that brush and blending from the lid up and into the crease until it's all seamless.
Then moving onto my usual everyday face makeup routine of:
- Maybelline Dream BB Fresh in Light as my base
- Then taking my go to concealer as always, the Lasting Perfection concealer in Fair from Collection under my eyes drawn in a triangle and taken down my cheeks, along my nose, on my forehead, around the sides of my nose, on my cupids bow, around my lips, and on my chin. Then of course on any blemish areas that I want to cover. Using my beauty blender from Real Techniques for both my base and my concealer.
- Then using another holy grail of mine, the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in Translucent. Powdering all over my face with my Makeup Revolution F104 powder brush as well as baking my face with a makeup puff.
- Then moving onto my eyebrows, and as always I'm using my Maybelline Satin Brown in the shade Dark Brown and then taking the Maybelline Brow Drama brow gel also in Dark Brown to just set them in place.
- Then shaping my face with Makeup Revolution's Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit in the shade Fair C01. Just taking the contour to sculpt out my cheek bones on an angled brush and buffing it out in circular motions and contouring my nose using my Urban Decay fluffy brush from their Smoky pallet.
- Baked both my face contour and my nose contour with Rimmel London's Stay Matte powder in Translucent.
- Taking Bourjois Intense Extract 03 as my blush on Makeup Revolution F103 stippling brush to just stipple the colour onto the apples of my cheeks and up to the hair line.
- Finally taking Makeup Revolution's F105 angled brush to apply my highlighter from Makeup Revolution's Ultra Sculpt and Contour Kit in Fair C01. Placing it on the high points of my cheeks, my forehead, down the bridge and on the tip of my nose, on my cupids bow, and on my chin.
Taking Copper Dream on a slightly more angled brush to run along my lower lashline and lightly blending it out with same fluffy brush from earlier to give more of a soft look.
Adding some subtle glow to my inner corners with Peach Cream also from the Eyes Like Angels pallet. Just gently packing this on with my finger and took it on the inner third of my lid and crease to lighten up the eyes and make it into a pretty blend of peach into pink toned copper.
Of course you can't have beautiful eyelids without beautiful lashes. Coating my lashes in Makeup Revolution's Amazing Volume to get gorgeous black long lashes and get that curved voluminous lift.
Using no lip liner, just a lipstick; Collection's Peachy Keen all over my lips.
And this is the finished look my loves. I realised as I was going through the photos, it doesn't look very peach, more orange toned. But I can assure you in real life it was a true mix of peach, pink, and copper. For some reason the camera just didn't want to pick up the true colours.
