Collective Haul: Primark, Lush, New Look, Superdrug, & Select!

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are all well and are having a good start to January. I know sometimes January is a pretty slow month because it is the start of the year, Christmas and the New Year celebrations are over, and in January there is usually nothing to look forward to. But, for me, it has actually been really good so far because of college and just in general.

On Saturday, my parents, Chloe, and I all went to Milton Keynes to do some shopping and had such a good time. There we're so many sales on as well as new clothing in for the new year. I know you guys love it when I post hauls and I'm excited for you to see what I bought, enjoy...

The first item is this bag, this was not bought from Milton Keynes, but my mum gave it to me on Saturday. It was a free handbag she received from one of her shopping magazines and she asked me if I wanted it and I said yes. I really like it because even though it's small, I could probably take it on a night out and it has enough room in to fit everything I carry daily.

These are just some beauty blenders because I needed some new ones and the ones I did have are all nasty now. But these are brilliant because they smooth your coverage out and make your face base look flawless. (I got 4 of these as they're an essential)

From: Primark
Price: £1.50

My mum ordered me some things from Newlook that I didn't know she'd ordered and some of the things in the parcel were these cute socks. Even though it isn't Christmas anymore, I am still going to wear them because they're right up my street.

From: Newlook
Price: £2.99

Blackberry
Sakura

Chloe and I then made a cheeky purchase in one of our favourite shops! I decided to get two bath bombs because I couldn't decide which one I preferred so I decided I wanted both. So the first one I got is Sakura which is just a white based bath bomb with lots of different speckles of colour's - blue, pink, and a red toned orange is what you first see. I am really looking forward to using Sakura because it smells amazing - citrus and refreshing.

The second one I got was Blackberry, which obviously smells like blackberries. It is just a really beautiful pastel purple shade and smells very relaxing. I am also excited to use this one!

From: Lush
Price:
Sakura: £3.35
Blackberry: £3.25

The next thing are these gorgeous sandals. I am over the moon that I found these because I was looking on Primark's website and I saw they were new (hence they're for the summer time) and I loved them. I was really hoping I was going to find them and I couldn't see them anywhere until we went into the blouses section and they were on a stand next to them. I was so happy because these are so comfy and I love the stripe pattern and I just want to wear these now! Unfortunately, it is too cold!

From: Primark
Price: £12.00

Here are some adorable bed shorts to go with all of the pyjama tops that I have no bottoms for. I got these in the next size up so they're bigger and more slouchy. But I am going to pair these with my dark blue pyjama top that says 'Sleep Less, Dream More'.

From: Primark
Price: £4.00

Here are some soft Christmas pudding shorts. My mum also ordered these from Newlook because they we're in the online sale. She also got me some of the long ones to match these and I kid you not. These are so soft and cosy, I love them.

From: Newlook
Price: £5.99

I really like this top, it's dark purple and oversized with a zip detail at the back. I can wear it with pretty much any kind of trousers, leggings, and jeans.

From: Select
Price: £7.99

This next top was a bit of an interesting buy because, Chloe and I went into a Newlook and there was sale items all over the shop, and this top happened to be one of them. It was a bit awkward because I absolutely loved the gold neck shape at the top and the lace fabric over the under layer. But I didn't like the colour underneath the lace fabric. It's slightly growing on me now but I would prefer it if it was more of an ivory instead of an grey/cream colour. But I think it'll look best with black jeans for a night out/ party. Or, maybe a long pencil skirt.

From: Newlook
Price: £12.00

This is a bright tango orange jumper which I am obviously not going to wear out during winter. It'll be when spring is getting nearer and Easter time as no doubt, it'll still be cold here when it is April. I could probably wear this in late August as well when the nights start to get cooler with black jeans or blue ones for spring.

From: Primark
Price: £8.00

As all of you know, I got a onesie for Christmas that was a little bit tight and I think it's because I am so tall, that all of the onesie's are a bit too short for my height, which is why I am trying to get them in larger sizes. I found this Care Bear one and I just fell in love with it for how adorable it is. I tried to get it in an 18 - 20 just for the length but unfortunately they didn't have that size, they just had the 14 - 16. But it's really soft and cosy and adorable which is just my fave.

From: Primark
Price: £14.00

Some more adorable winter pyjama bottoms for me. My mum also ordered these from Newlook, but they come in a set with a strapy pink top. But I hate stapy tops for wearing to bed as I prefer them to be oversized because for me, night time, is all about comfort. I have no idea how much these were as the set didn't say.

In Superdrug in the Milton Keynes Centre, they have a Makeup Revolution stand which is the best as they're slowly becoming my favourite eyeshadow brand. So I decided I'd try out their primer and matte foundation. I do really like both of these products together, which is what I think you need to do when things are as cheap as these were. The only thing I would say is that the foundation doesn't really cover anything, but what it does do is, it evens out your skin tone and then I just apply concealer over the top of what still needs to be covered. I prefer this foundation though because it is thinner as thick ones make me look cakey and horrible with concealer over the top as well as powder.

The primer is like any other primer really - works well for most of the day and keeps your base on for the working day. The foundation is thin which I really like, it doesn't have any kind of full or medium coverage. But, for those girls that do not need any concealer or a thick foundation and you just want something to apply a bit of powder over, this'd be great for you as they have a range of shades. Overall, not bad for the price you pay.

From: Superdrug (might not be in every store)
Price:
Primer: £5.00
Foundation: £2.00

This group of beauty items were from Primark's Christmas beauty advent calendar which was a brand called Lovable Luxuries. I wanted a beauty advent calendar that wasn't too expensive at Christmas and I couldn't get one that was in my price range. But then when Chloe and I went to Primark in Oxford, I didn't get one as I didn't have enough money. But I saw that they still had some on sale in Milton Keynes, so I bought one. There were 2 extra things in it - one I just threw in the bin as no one is going to want it and I know I'd never use it. The other one, I do not remember what it was and I can't find where it's gone.

Includes:
- red glitter nail varnish
-  green, gold, red glitter nail varnish with large pink glitter flakes
- clear lipgloss with green glitter shimmer bits (non sticky or scratchy)
- bright red lipgloss (non sticky)
- mascara
- glitter eyeliner
- rose gold nail art pen (so excited to use that)
- bright barbie pink blusher (seriously it's really bright)
- smokey eye mini eye pallet (white, light grey, dark grey, dark glittery black)
- pot of iridescent glitter (use for nails, eyes, and face and shines different colours in the light)

I've tried a few of these out and I do actually really like a lot of them surprisingly. I know it's not going to be brilliant stuff because it's primark, but some of them look and feel really nice. I am thinking about creating a look out of all of these products I was given to create a super cheap makeup look for you guys as well as reviewing it. Give me a comment below if you want me to do that.

Just a little extra added thing, this is the first look I've ever done with my Naked 3 pallet and I wanted to share it with you all. For those of you who are interested and have the pallet. I used Nooner in the crease and took it all over the lid. Then on top of that, I used Liar on the main part of the lid, Factory on my lower lashline, and finally, I used Stranger as my brow bone highlight.

Well my darlings, that is everything I got on Saturday. I hope you enjoyed my haul as I haven't done one in such a long time. If you guys have bought anything recently, comment down below! But for now, I will see you sometime next week.

Bye for now,

Katie

What I Got For Christmas 2014!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great New Years Eve and start to 2015! I had a really great time at the New Years Eve party we go to every year. For the past two years I've taken Chloe and she couldn't come this year as she had something else to do with her family. So, it was just my mum, dad, and I; honestly, I thought I wasn't gonna have as good of a time as I have done for the past two New Years Eve's, but, it was actually really good. I got to meet some new people this time, as well as other's I already knew; overall, I just had a great time!

I just also want to give a shoutout to one of my bestest friends, Charlie Milne. He does so many incredible things for me, such as making my tumblr blog look amazing. Now, he has very kindly offered to make my blog header better which is really lovely. I hope you guys like the new look as he is going to be making some more for me throughout the year related to certain seasons - e.g. seasons related, my birthday, Valentines Day, Easter. Which I'm really excited about. I'd really appreciate it if you guys would go and check out his blog: http://charliesbase.blogspot.co.uk/  and his tumblr: http://euxta.tumblr.com/ thank you all very much!

You can also check out my tumblr at: http://treacher0us.tumblr.com/

But, we are heading back to Christmas now as I need to share with you all, what I got for Christmas this year! Just as a heads up, I am not showing off with any of these at all and I am extremely grateful to all of my friends and family who gave me some wonderful gifts.

I am so happy as I actually did ask for this for Christmas and it was the main thing I wanted to get and I got it! I was over the moon when I opened this, I am so excited to get using it throughout makeup tutorials this year. I already know it's going to be a big favourite of 2015 for me! Can't thank my parents enough!

I received this gorgeous ring from my parents which I've wanted for ages. It's from Warren James and this picture is not doing it justice of how beautiful it really is. It is a big statement ring and really feminine. I absolutely love it.

Sorry if this image is a little blurry, but jewellery photo's are difficult. But, these were a surprise, these are also from Warren James and they are just a ball necklace and a ball bracelet. I really like them because they're not too out there and they are simple. I prefer to have one main bit of jewellery that is noticeable compared to it all in your face. So these are going to get a lot of wear out of them and I love them.

Here is a close up of the earrings that we're also included within the necklace and bracelet box. I love these because they are big gems but simple - you can wear them any where and every wear because earrings like this are really versatile. I am already obsessed with wearing them.

The next present I got was Rogue by Rihanna and this was from Charlie. From Charlie it is kind of becoming a tradition of getting perfumes for Christmas and my birthday. Over half of the perfumes on the shelf in my room are from Charlie. But, I really like Rogue - it starts off with quite a strong smell but it fades out into a really nice floral smell. I really love the bottle and the scent. Thank you Charlie.

This next adorable little thing is from my girl Heather! For those of you who have no idea what this is. This is a little pop figurine and you can get so many different ones of them. I got a Sven one from the film Frozen. I absolutely love him, he's the cutest thing I've ever seen and he is currently living on my jewellery shelf, but I need to find a better place for him to live. But thank you so much Heather!

Yes, we've got another perfume guys. This is Cheryl Cole's perfume storm flower. I know that a lot of people really don't like it, but, I actually really like the smell of it. It works for me - it is light, it is floral. The only thing that is awful, is, it doesn't smell very nice form the lid itself but once it is sprayed, and on your skin, it smells really nice. But I love the bottle and colour - I think it's different and original. I don't have anything on my shelf like this, so, it's a nice one to add to my perfume collection.

Okay guys, this is the final perfume of Christmas 2k14! But of course it has to Katy Perry's Killer Queen - Royal Revolution. I've wanted this for ages. I do like the smell of it but I don't think it is anything that is 100% different from her last two. But nonetheless, I do really like it.

This next lovely present is of course from my girl, Chloe! She got me this lovely burgundy scarf which is extremely soft and I cannot wait to wear it in the winter months right now. She also got me a really cute bracelet from her holiday which I also love and a nice red glitter lipgloss. Thank you Chloe!

This next present, wasn't actually originally mine. It was my mums, but she received two of the same gift, so she asked if I would like one and of course I said yes! (who's not going to want free nail varnish) But I really like this set from Champneys. I've tested the colours and they're all really nice. I especially love the hand and nail cream as it feels really nice on your skin, it's non sticky and just feels really good quality.

You guys should know by now how much I adore this programme. So of course I've got season 5 on DVD. This was an incredible season - they've done everything that they could possibly throw into 5 season's across the years and now I'm excited to see what else season 6 has to offer during this year. Can't wait!

I can't go a Christmas without some CD's. So all of these are pretty damn fabulous. I love basically all of the songs on them and I am really happy to finally have them. I also have now got Ella Henderson's and UnionJ's as I didn't receive those for Christmas unfortunately, so my mum went and got them for me earlier this week - so I am just going to count them as Christmas gifts. But both Ella's and UnionJ's are amazing as well!

Got some more DVD's! Really looking forward to watching Miranda's live show and also re-watching Tangled as when I first watched it, it was on my free month of Netflix. So it's nice to actually have it.

I received a lot of nail varnish this year! I am really happy as well as it is pretty good quality nail things. I really think this year, I am going to get back into my nail art and I am determined to post more nail tutorials this year on my blog. I feel like last year for myself in general and my blog it was a very makeup based year and I just let my nails be mostly glitter based or just one colour based etc. But this year I am really in the mood to do lots of nail art again like I did in 2013. So to have new equipment and new nail polishes it makes me determined to do new nail designs this year.

I received these from auntie, uncle, and cousins and I am really excited to use them! I have decided to do a review, swatches and tutorial with these just like I am going to do with the Naked 3 Pallet. I've already had a little peak at them and the colours and they feel like really nice quality and they're not sticky! Best feeling ever when lipglosses aren't sticky.

These I love... skin related products are becoming a big thing in my life because I receive them all the time now - for Christmas for birthdays etc. But I never complain because they are always really lovely to have some because they always smell gorgeous in your bath and there are so many different scents which makes it something for everyone. The top ones I received from my mum and dad, the ones in the box I got from Chloe, and then the final one, which I've never used before, is from Jess. I can't wait to get through all of these and I am really excited to use the last one as I've never had the Mixed Berries one before.

This next one is a body spray from Jess. Jess is so good a choosing scents for me as last year for Christmas she got me a Mango and Papaya scent body spray and I fell in love with that (I still love it today!). But now, she has got me this one and I am already in love with this one.

This is a cute little nail tool set from some family friends and I just thought the case all the tools are in is just adorable.

I also got some Christmas pudding pyjamas from my auntie and uncle. I really love these just because they are really festive and even though it's not Christmas anymore.

I got these next two lovely things from Ellie. I love the earrings, I think they are so cute and I thought the hand creams were really thoughtful. Their packaging is adorable and I'm looking forward to using them. Thank you Ellie!

This next present is one of the most incredible things I've ever had. Heather bought it from Comicon when her and Jess went earlier last year. She got me a signed Vampire Diaries Pilot script. This is amazing because it's a real copy of the script and signatures of the actors in that episode which is amazing! I just love having it as people like me usually don't get things like this! Thank you so much Heather, you're the best.

Really excited to have these three books in my life as I've wanted them for ages and I've started reading The Wolf Princess just because I wanted to read that one first. I've only read about 4 chapters but it's not exactly what I expected so far, but I am really intrigued to how the story is going to lead on from what I've already read.

Here are some more amazing books that I am so excited to read as I've wanted them for ages. My girl Jess got these for me which is amazing as it's whole book series and I am so excited to read these. Thank you so much Jess, you're the best!

This next present is from my parents and they said they bought it for a laugh, but I actually really like it. it is a pink and white onesie from Select. I really like it because it is so soft and cosy. The only sad part is it is a bit short for my height and a little tight around the whole of the top half. But I still really like it! I am going to buy another onesie - no idea from where or what one. But there's bound to be some in the sale somewhere.

The final present is a new bag! I am really happy to have a new bag as I need one for college and just in general. I've been using a backpack for ages and I'm kind of bored of it now and want to go back to a handbag. But I couldn't ever find any comfy to sit on my shoulders to carry it, but, this one is actually really nice. It doesn't seem as big inside, but we'll see. I love it as it is different colour scheme and style to what I already have.

I also got some money, vouchers, and lots of chocolate!

Well my lovelies, that is everything I got for Christmas 2014! I really hope you've enjoyed seeing what I got and I hope you guys got everything in the world you hoped for and more. Leave me a comment below telling me what you got for Christmas!

Tomorrow everyone, I am going to Milton Keynes with my mum, dad, and Chloe to go and do some January sale shopping and I am excited as it means I can finally post a haul!!! I haven't posted a haul in such a long time and I used to do them all the time last year. (from about January - August) I know how much you guys love seeing hauls, therefore, I am really excited to do one!

But thank you for reading if you did and I will see you soon!

Bye for now,

Katie
