What I got for Christmas 2013!!!

Hello everyone! I am back for you with a happier post after my last one and it is none other than, What I got for Christmas 2013!!

Would just like to say, I hope everyone has had an amazing Christmas and received everything they hope and wished for! I also hope everyone has a wonderful and very Happy New Year!

Anyway, lets get started! (also, none of the gifts are in order of what I was given)

I am going to start off with the lovely presents I got from my friends

1. Presents from Friends...

The first present is from my friend Lana who got me a very cute Strawberry Fruit Vibe shower gel and body lotion. They smell utterly delicious and I think these will be good for travelling but I will probably test them out once I've used all of my other bath products, (and believe me, there is a lot of bath products this year!)

Second set of gifts is from my lovely girl Jess, I adore all the presents she got me and I love her to pieces. Firstly, she got me a beautiful scarf which has black and white stripe/ leaf/ shape effect. Which has beautiful big red roses over the top, I absolutely love it and cannot wait to wear it! Also, she got me some Mango & Papaya spray which smells amazing. I've been wearing it ever since I opened it and it is a more summery smell, but it is so fresh and fabulous that I will be wearing it all the time! Finally, she got me a lovely Models Own nail polish Glitter Kit which I cannot wait to use very soon! Thank you very much Jess :*

Thirdly my presents from Heather who I love to pieces, she bought me this beautiful vintage necklace that kind of reminds me of something from The Vampire Diaries (the jewellery they wear in the show) and when I first opened it I wasn't too sure of it but now I love it and have been wearing it every single day!

She also bought me a UnionJ mug as she knows I am a massive fan of those boys, but unfortunately I am drinking out of it right now, so I don't have a picture of it for you. But I love that present too! Thank you Heather for the lovely gifts :*

From one of my closet friends, Charlie, he got me two things I've been bursting to get for a long time. Midnight Memories by One Direction which I think is their best album yet and I love it because it's much more grown up than their last two albums and I think it's the right sound for them.

Along with, Katy Perry's movie, Part Of Me! I've heard so many good things about this film therefore I needed it. When films like these come out I'm never that interested in them because I'm not a big documentary celebrity kind of person thing. But I love my girl Katy Perry and as I'm a massive fan I needed to see it!

Thank you very much Charlie, love these gifts :*

Ps, everyone go and check out Charlie's blog, he does amazing reviews of CDs etc:

Go check him out at: http://charlie-reviews.blogspot.co.uk/

Finally, from my best friend in the whole wide world, Chloe got me some lovely presents! Firstly, she got me some Cath Kidston body lotions and shower gels and they are such a cute size! which could be great for travelling and the packaging is just gorgeous!

Secondaly, she got me two things from Colour Couture: a party eye makeup pallet, which has silver, purple and blue in to create a bold look which I am thinking of using for New Years Eve! Also, some Colour Couture nail polishes in green, red, blue and pink!

Finally, some shimmering shower gels in: Pink Macaroon and Green Haze.

2. Bath and Shower Gels!

Everyone, I have had quite a lot of bath products this year (as you will soon see) but I haven't used the two from Wilkinson's yet but they smell amazing.

The I love... Mango & Papaya I have used and I absolutely adore it. I've been dying to get some of the I love... bath, shower, body lotions products for such a long time and I am delighted that the first one was that. I have used it as a shower gel and a bath foam to create bubbles (another big thing I love about them - they're versatile) my favourite part about this one though is the smell, it makes me feel fresh and gives me a happy feeling! Overall, extremely pleased with those that I got for Christmas.

3. DVDS!

The first three on the top are some DVDs I really wanted this year as I adore Miranda, she is goddess and a queen of comedy! She is immensely funny and I love her to pieces!

I've wanted Pitch Perfect for such a long time, when I first saw it had come out in cinemas I didn't know if I wanted to go and see it and I decided not to. But my girls at college have said how amazing it is and that is extremely funny which made me want to have it in my life... and now I do! Looking forward to watching that.

The other two underneath were a surprise, I didn't ask for them, I just received them in my stocking. But I am looking forward to watching Crazy Stupid Love.

4. The Vampire Diaries boxset (seasons 1-4)

I am so happy and thrilled to finally have this boxset in my life! I got into The Vampire Diaries in season 4 but unfortunately I have not watched seasons 1-3 and have missed a lot out, although currently season 5 is on our TV screens, I need to watch the first 3 seasons to actually get the gist of the show and how everything happening now occurred.

But I am so excited to watch it, therefore a massive thank you to my auntie, uncle and my beautiful cousins for buying it me!

5. CDs

Next up is some CDs I asked for, haven't listened to them yet that much as my iTunes has messed up a little.

Little Mix: Salute
Jessie J: Alive
BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge 2013

6. UnionJ's book!

Everyone, when I opened this gift I died slightly inside because UnionJ have become my new babies on my boyband front (I'm a little bit obsessed with bands and boybands) and I am so happy to have this book. Unfortunately I cannot read it yet because I have tons of other books to get through first.

However, I am most looking forward to getting my mind into their book.

7. Makeup!

Christmas is not complete for a girl without some form of makeup in some way or another.

I received these cute makeup sets also from my auntie, uncle and cousins. I haven't used the lip one that much but that's because I haven't worn many lip products these last few days.

But I adore the eye one, the colours are very blend able and are definitely natural day look colours which is perfect for autumn/ winter time.

8. Nail Polish

I get some type of nail polish every single year, whether it is from my friends or just from family.

This year my parents bought me a mega nail set of Kelly Brook's nail polish brand which you can buy in Newlook along with her clothing line.

I haven't properly painted my nails with the colours but I have tested them out to see how they look on a nail or two and I love all the colours. In this set you get a bit of everything: party shades - glitter shades, summer shades - the bright coloured shades, autumn shades- the more natural and neutral colours in the set. Therefore, you cannot really complain.

But looking forward to actually wearing these in the new year.

9. MY NEW LAPTOP!

I am over the moon to finally have a new laptop in my life. The main reason I wanted a new one was because my old laptop which I still have due to transferring files and photos over etc; it was overheating, the fan was loud and it was becoming slightly slow as I've had it for about 5/6 years now and I ruined the keyboard when I split something on it (don't remember what though) therefore the keyboard had to be changed and fixed! So overall, I need a new one pretty soon!

I received this beautifully pure white one for Christmas in the brand Toshiba which I absolutely love, the screen is wider than compared to more length going upwards. The laptop is completely white all over, whereas my other one was red on the top. Although there are still a couple things I need to sort out, I am overall majorly happy to have a new laptop in my life. Thank you very much mum and dad, I can't thank you enough.

10. One Direction - Our Moment

When I first smelt this perfume I wasn't too bothered by it, I felt like it was just an everyday smell you could pick up from any kind of perfume. But, I asked for it anyway because I love my One Direction boys and I love the bottle it comes in and the fact that it's very girly and pink.

However, during the day the smell of it changes. It goes from being quite strong from the first spray and then smooth's out during the day to become quite sweet still but more toned down.

Overall, thank you to my auntie and uncle as I am extremely happy with the gift; I love it!

11. Katy Perry - Killer Queen

I've been waiting for this perfume for quite a while and I finally have it in my life! For starters, I adore the packaging it came in and the bottle itself is bloody beautiful! It is so chique and a much more grown up perfume from Katy compared to Purr and Meow. I love having it in my perfume collection and it looks stunning on my shelf (will do a proper review soon)

Thank you again to mum and dad for buying me the 100ml, (oh yeah!)

12. Benefit Perfumes!

These were probably the biggest surprise because I didn't ask for them but I mentioned to my mum back in the summer that I loved the smell of the first one on the right, Ring My Bella but because it was from Benefit it was too expensive for me to buy.

When I opened these up on Christmas day I was so shocked because I wasn't expecting them, but also happy because these are my first ever Benefit items and they are worth it everyone! (even though I didn't buy them for myself)

They smell amazing, they are also small the ones I have and they came with their own little boxes each, therefore they are fab for travelling around or slipping in your handbag! they aren't spray bottles, you just have to tip these ones up to use, but I can't remember if the big bottles are spray ones. One of my favourite things about them is their packaging and their names because they are so unique and aren't like any other perfume bottle I've had and they're extremely cute! In my opinion every girl should have at least one! But overall extremely happy with them and I can't wait to use them.

Well everyone, that is all of the main Christmas gifts this year, but I also got the No7 light up makeup mirror this year as I desperately needed a new mirror because my old one is broken and is too small now. The mirror was also something I didn't ask for but I was so happy I was given it from mum and dad because it has a 5x optical zoom which is brilliant for eye makeup, apply fake eyelashes etc, because that way you can get a closer look at what you are doing. Unfortunately I do not have an image of it for you guys right now, but I may do a review on it in the start of the new year!

I did also receive smaller presents, such as chocolate, sweets, socks, pants, a calendar, some Charlie mini sprays, some deodorant, some lip glosses, some other cute perfumes and finally a light up name candle!

Finally, that is all the presents I received this year everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading and I also hope you received all the gifts you wished for this year and more!

I hope you've all had a very Merry Christmas and I really wish you all a Happy New Year! I probably wont see you before then, so extremely Happy New Year to you all and I hope you all have an amazing night or whatever you are celebrating on your New Years Eve.

I am going to a party we go to every year, with my best friend, parents and possibly auntie, uncle and cousins!

The next time I post will most likely be on the 1st of January 2014 (can't believe it's nearly 2014, ahh)

I will see you all in the new year! and good bye for a final time in 2013!

Bye for now,

Katie x x x x
