Hello everyone, first of all, I know this is becoming a massive habit! But I am so sorry for not posting for almost a month, truth be told college has kept me so busy and I've had pretty much nothing to post.
Unfortunately, I do not have any March favourites because I haven't bought anything new or tried anything different out since my February favourites, so instead I am going to share with you my current makeup favourites and these are pretty much what I've been wearing lately or all the time.

1. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
This product is constantly one I go back to for the spring/summer time because it's light weight and I don't need to necessarily have to wear a primer underneath it and it's really easy to layer more on.
My only downfall is the fact that throughout the day it kind of fades and goes a little shiny around my t-zone. But I can easy fix it with apply some more powder.
But overall I would recommend everyone buying this because it's just lightweight and definitely a win for the hotter months of the year.
You can buy these in two colours: Pink (what I have) or in a Blue coloured bottle and this is because the Blue one is Pure and the Pink is in Fresh. The Blue one is Oil Free so if you have oily skin I would recommend you buy that one. But if you have normal - combination skin like me go for the Pink one.
(£7.99 from Boots and Superdrug)
2. Collection Lasting Perfection 16 Hour Concealer
I have been using this product since I was about 12 years old and I haven't ever tried a different concealer because it is just amazing! It highlights so you don't even need to highlight your nose or the highest points of your cheeks.
But it also covers really well and it's amazing for dark circles under your eyes etc. I just absolutely adore this concealer, I always use it and I would recommend anyone to buy it.
(£4.19 from Superdrug)
3. Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
I bought this back in February I think because I needed a new powder as I ran out and everyone says how incredible this is, so I went and bought one. I absolutely agree with all the reviews, it is an amazing powder to keep your face matte and it gives a beautiful finish to your makeup.
My colour is in 003 Peach Glow but you can get many other colours even lighter and darker and I would recommend everyone to buy this if you want that beautifully perfect matte finish.
(£3.99 from Superdrug and Boots)
4. MUA Mosaic Blush Shade 3 - English Rose
I've had this product for about a year now and I still adore using it. This blush is a very shimmery and frosty blush, it's not one of those blushes that is a noticeable pink. It is a very natural and pretty simple frosty pink tint and I really like that about this blush.
I love it!!
(£3.00 from Superdrug)
5. MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter
I got this a few weeks ago as I have been trying to get it for such a long time and it was extremely worth it. It is such a good highlighter and is extremely pretty as it shimmers when it catches the light.
The only down side for me is it sometimes makes down my nose look slightly cakey and I don't know whether that it just the product or my skin on that particular area. But for me: forehead, cheeks, cupids bow, end of nose and chin are all fine for this product.
It really is a beautiful highlighter and worth buying if you want to try out a highlighter but do not have much money.
(£3.00 from Superdrug)
5. Only Way Is Essex Shimmer Brick
I only started using this recently and it is another shimmer blush product, so if you aren't into shimmery products do not get this.
It is very versatile as you can use it for eye shadow also and use individual colours for eye shadow and for blush I use all of the colours by swirling my blush around with my brush.
It gives of a shimmery coral pinky colour which is great for summer time!
(Unfortunately I do not know where this came from because I received it in a set a couple years ago)
6. Colour Couture Lipgloss
I have been loving all these lip glosses recently because at the moment for spring time I can't be bothered to wear lipstick because it is too much effort. Whereas I can just slip these on my lips and go.
The colour furthest to the left, the reddish colour is the most natural and is what I wear mostly on a daily basis.
Both pink colours I usually wear over similar lipstick colours but I do wear them on their own as well.
Finally, the orangey/coral colour I have been wearing recently and it isn't as pigmented as the rest but I think it would look better layered over a lipstick.
However, I love all these colours and on the whole they're really pigmented and are glossy and I love that!
(I don't know how much these are as I got them for Christmas in a massive set, but if you can grab these, definitely get them!!)
Okay everyone, that is everything I have been really liking makeup wise recently. I am sorry that I haven't been posting yet again and I am going to do loads more in the Easter holidays, I promise! Thank you everyone for reading if you did and I will get back to you soon.
Bye for now,
Katie
xoxo
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I'm so sorry that it has taken me more than a week to post my favourites for last month, I need to get better at in future! But nevertheless here we go with my February favourites...
1. My "Doc Martens" boots
Right, these aren't real Doc Martens but they look exactly the same but they were a cheaper price! I don't know what the shop was called but they do some lovely shoes in there and it's a shop in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre.
Anyway, before I wore them they gave me blisters so I had to stretch them out a little bit inside before I really got to wear them. I still wear plasters with them when I do wear them because I feel more secure in that I wont get any redness or blisters that way.
I really love these boots because they're so easy to wear, they go with virtually anything, they're perfect for winter/autumn time. They are absolutely a god send in the rainy weather because you're feet do not even get cold or wet at all.
As you can see from the picture on the right they are just lace up and a zip and they're pretty plain but they will go with absolutely any outfit. But as the warmer months come along I will probably be into my cute little converses and sandals etc.
2. Charlie - Enchanted
This month I have been adoring this spray because it's just really light weight and sweet scented floral smell. I feel like as it's becoming warmer and were moving into spring that I will wear body sprays soon more than perfumes just so I'm not over loaded with different smells whereas winter I feel like it's not as bad.
I feel like body sprays will become a massive thing this year for me through spring and summer!
3. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
This month BB cream has been my go to face product because these are so much easier and quicker to apply than foundation and right now my skin is pretty bad in clearness because I keep forgetting to cleanse it at night (don't judge me). I've also ran out of primer and do not have enough money to go and buy more because the foundation I have looks dreadful on my skin without primer underneath it.
Also, I feel that BB cream looks more natural which is what I prefer in spring and summer because for me it's all about still looking nice with less hassle. Therefore I may not go back to the foundation I had, I might just stick to BB cream and concealer.
But for BB cream it just blends into the skin as it's moisturising and gives a natural shine/glow to my skin therefore I have just really been preferring to use this a lot this month.
4. PS Love... Brow Pencil
Oh my god, I cannot express to you how much I love this brow pencil because I have looked so long for an eyebrow pencil to match my hair colour and it is so hard as I've never dyed my hair like most girls, therefore my hair colour and eyebrow colour is virtually the same.
This is quite a chocolate brown colour but the top layer of my hair has been dyed by the sun there it's a dark/chestnut colour on top which is perfect because this eyebrow pencil matches that.
I've been having a play around with the super dark/thick brow look and today I tried the more natural subtle colour brow and I think I will fill them in really lightly from now on instead of pressing the colour on as it doesn't look as nice as what I tested today. But I've been adoring this brow pencil and you should all go and grab one from Primark as it's their makeup range! They are in brown and blonde and a darker brown I think.
5. Colour Couture Dramatic Eyes
Okay everyone, I got this set for Christmas from my auntie and uncle and I've been really loving trying out different eye looks with the colours as they were more day winter looks and I really enjoyed playing around with them.
The packaging is the cutest thing ever and I can't even describe how perfect it is as it so beautiful. I just love it.
Here we have what is in the set, the eyeshadow colours: you get 10 different colours of light and dark. You get three eyeshadow dusts in a white/silver colour, a grey colour and a black colour.
You also get some mascara and eyeliner along with some little applicators.
Finally, a how to do a certain look guide to get you started!
6. Colour Couture Lipgloss
This was the second set I got from my auntie and uncle and I didn't use it for a little while until Feb and now and I adore this set!
The colours in it are so good just for a plain lip for just lip gloss or you can layer them over lipstick to make them more glossy and less dry which is what I do with a lot of these lip glosses.
Once again, this packaging is just adorable and I cannot get over how much I love it!!

Okay, in this kit you get 4 lip glosses in tubes which you can slip into your makeup bag or handbag etc.
You receive 9 pallet lip glosses which are alot less pigmented than the tube glosses. But I've mainly used the red, light pink, dark pink and medium purple shade in the actual pallet colours.
In the tube lip glosses I've used the more natural lip colour which is the first one on the left, I've also used the dark pink one next to it and more recently the light pink one as I have lipstick in that colour now. I think I will use the very end one in more summer time.
It also comes with a lip applicator which helps apply lipstick and the gloss and I adore that as it's made wearing lipstick with gloss easier.
Again, it comes with another how to do a certain lip style.
You also get a lip gloss glitter in a tube, but personally I do not like it as I think that is a bit tacky and the glitter inside is green not just plain glitter. It also makes my lips feel tingly and weird and I do not like that.
Okay that is everything everyone, I am sorry that there hasn't been many this month, but I am hoping as March is now here that there'll be a lot more in this up coming month.
Thank you all so much for reading if you did and I may post again a few days depending on what I can post and think of. But I will get back to you soon... hopefully.
Bye for now guys,
- Katie
xoxoxox
Hello everyone, once again I haven't posted for a couple weeks because I have things to post I can just never find the time to sit down and complete it! But I am here now with lots of things to post so hopefully it'll all be fine! My February favourites will be coming up in the next couple days everyone! Okay, on with the haul everyone...
Firstly, I am going to start with Newlook as that's the place I've bought the majority of clothing form in the past few weeks.
The first item from Newlook is this simple colours of grey and black that has a slight line effect in the middle with a mixture of black, grey and white along with some cute design gold zips at the bottom. I really like the this jumper and I think it would look dead nice with black jeans or a black skirt as this will probably be worn mostly for the last leg of winter as it's almost spring now.
This top was £7.00 in the sale.
Secondly, I got these two kind of acid wash tops in mint green and purple. These tops are really simple and just something nice to wear for spring with jeans, skirts and shorts. It's nice to a pastel pop of colour for spring because my style and colours change with the seasons. Both tops are also really spacious, baggy and long which is what I really like in tops.
Single top: £9.99
Or two tops for £12.00
Another plain top now because I just really liked it. It's a cotton main part of the top and then the sleeves are black leather and I felt it was different as I have nothing like this in my wardrobe currently. I will probably wear this top for the last leg of winter because it's quite dark colours whereas in spring I prefer to wear lighter colours. I will most likely pair this with jeans and a black skirt etc.
This top was also £7.00 in the sale.
Finally from Newlook I found this oversized branded logo t-shirt that I absolutely love because I can wear this at any point in the year. I can pair it with shorts and jeans etc; it's just an acid wash deep green-ish colour with white writing on (as you can see in the picture). It feels really nice therefore it will feel really comfy as I am wearing it.
This top was £8.00 in the sale.
Next I went to H&M and I wanted to get two tops but unfortunately the other one I wanted didn't have a bigger size up like this one did so I am going to order that one on their website.
Anyway, I adore this jumper so much because it isn't thick, it is thin so I can still wear it when it is slightly cold but getting warmer instead of my super thick jumpers that I wore through December and January.
The best thing about it is how it feels, it is one of the softest jumpers I have ever felt and the design on it is just adorable and I can pair this with so many different items, such as: skirts, jumpers, leggings, shorts if I really wanted to.
This jumper was £12.99
The first items of jewellery I purchased were from River Island; I don't usually buy anything from River Island as a lot of their clothes aren't for me, they don't fit me and I find that it can be too expensive. But me and my mum just went in there to have a look and I found these adorable daisy pieces that I think would be absolutely adorable to wear in spring as I have a massive floral obsession during spring and summer.
They also had these items in a light pink and a dark pink but I went for the classic daisy colours. You could also buy a necklace to match the earrings and bracelet but the chain wasn't long enough for me. Plus they're so dainty and I want more dainty jewellery items and I finally found some.
Bracelet: £3.00
Earrings: £2.00
I got this ring about a week ago from Accesorize when I went to Milton Keynes with my parents and my best friend. I didn't do a haul post for that because I just didn't find the time but I thought I'd include this as I took a photo of it for my Instagram whereas the clothes I haven't take photos of.
Anyway, this ring I absolutely love and it will definitely be in my February and probably March favourites too. It is just a silver ring with the a type of moonstone gem on top that shines beautifully in the light (as you can see in the image) and it's just so easy to wear as there's no gems that get caught on clothes or anything and it is smooth and goes with anything.
£12.00
My mum bought this for me the other day as I've wanted to get this highlighter for ages and I finally have it and it is such a beautiful pinky shimmery colour. It hits the light on your face perfectly and makes your skin look beautiful and radiant. Also, even just as how it is in the pot looks gorgeous.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder
£3.00
(<-- swatch of the colour)
Next from Superdrug I bought some MUA eyeshadow in shades 24 and 4 (top to bottom) these colours are so pretty and and shimmery but I think if you blend them out enough they will become less shimmer and more colour focused. I might try to pair both of these colours together for one look as I think they'd look gorgeous together with the purple colour on the lid and the shimmery pinky/brown shade in the crease.

(swatches of the colours--->)
£1.00 each
The final items are these lipsticks from Collection in: Sweet Tart, Sugar Plum and Valentine (top to bottom)
I absolutely love these lipsticks, the red one (Valentine) I received for Valentine's Day from my mum and dad and it's a very bright red that you could wear on an every day basis in winter or just in general if red lipstick is your main colour.
The next colour up is the purple shimmer shade (Sugar Plum) I also bought this in Milton Keynes because I fancied getting another one and the colour is definitely a spring colour because it a deep pink but it is not bright like Sweet Tart.
Finally, I bought the popping pink shade (Sweet Tart) yesterday because I really want to keep buying more because their colour pay off is brilliant and this one is definitely a spring/ summer shade because it's still shiny like the purple colour but is a little more matte.
Overall, my favourite things about these lipsticks are: their colour pay off is brilliant, they last for several hours, I pair them with lip glosses that match to make them feel nicer on your lips as sometimes they can feel very dry so adding lipgloss is a great solution to that.
These were all £2.99 from Superdrug.
(<-- swatches of all the colours, Sweet Tart then Sugar Plum and Then Valentine, as I'm really bad at describing lipstick colours)
Everyone, that is the end of my haul and I hope you enjoyed reading if you did and I will get back to you possibly tomorrow or in a few days with my February favourites! I hope you all have a good rest of the day and I will see you soon. Bye for now guys,
Katie

Hello everyone, I am really sorry for the lack of posting yet again, I have been extremely busy with everything, but as it is half term now I will be hopefully doing more hauls and extra things as my mother tells me we'll be going shopping soon, so fingers crossed that will happen! But, I just thought I'd let you guys know what I've been so busy with.
For the past three weeks at college we've been doing the directing festival which is when you work in small groups of 2-5 and perform a show on the last week of the directing festival. The whole point of this section of our two years is to react with our second and first years. The first years (which is my year) perform a play that your directer chooses for you to do (the second years) which we will do the same next year (choose a play to direct with our future first years).
My directer was Rob and my two cast members were Izzie and Freyea and it was so much fun working with them and the show went incredible and it was just amazing. Also, everyone else's performances were fantastic and the best feeling was coming into the hall and hearing all your team clapping and cheering because you know that everyone is supporting each other and that is the best feeling when you're a performing arts student. So that pretty much took over my life for the past few weeks.
Secondly, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! (I know it was yesterday, haha) I just hope you all had a great day and night whether you spent it with a partner/boyfriend/husband/girlfriend/wife or friend/friends. I spent it with my girl Heather and we had such a good night and laugh and it was such a lovely way to spend Valentines Day! We also gave one another small gifts, I bought her a chocolate heart lolly and some smelly soap and she gave me a book called What Alice Forgot and it looks super interesting, so I might start that today. She also bought me a chocolate rose and a new mug that says 'Bee Mine' on it! Thank you Heather! They're so cute!

Valentine's Day hair and makeup ^^
Just for a little extra info you guys, I am having my haircut on Wednesday and then the dentist on Wednesday, ugh! (kill me now)
I'll talk to you all very soon, bye for now!

Hello everyone; it is now February which means January is done and dusted, which means it's time for, my January Favourites!!
I don't know about you but I felt that January has flown by and not much has happened really, except for college nothing exciting has really happened. Anyway, on with my favourites of January...

1. Mango and Papaya Body Spray!
I got this spray for Christmas from my girlie Jess and I absolutely love it! I have pretty much been wearing it non-stop through January because it smells refreshing and makes me feel more awake when I smell it. I will probably wear it a lot more in the summer though. But I've been loving this very much so thank you Jess.
2. Elena Gilbert Vervain Necklace
When I first got this I thought maybe it was something from the Vampire Diaries and then I started watching the boxset and it actually was and I'm not going to lie, I did fangirl just a little bit. Anyway, I've been loving this necklace from Heather, which I was also given for Christmas.
I just love how unique and vintage it is because I don't have any other necklace like this and it's from my favourite show so I cannot complain! Thank you very much Heather, I love it more than you will understand.
3. Bubble Bath and Shower Crème
I received a lot of these for Christmas but these two are my favourites out of them all.
I love... Mango & Papaya
I adore the mango and papaya bubble bath because it makes your bathroom smell fresh and inviting and it creates so many bubbles
Fruity Berry Foam Bath
I love this one because the smell reminds me of a drink I used to have when I was younger and the smell is quite rich and strong but still creates loads of bubbles and smells beautiful.
4. Kodaline: In A Perfect World
I've wanted this album for ages and the finally my mum went and bought it and I absolutely love it. Every single song on this album is perfect and Kodaline are just a lovely band and they write beautiful songs. Kodaline are definitely my new favourite band of 2014 and I just love them!
I would advise you all to go out and buy this album because it's perfect!
(I have also been loving OneRepublic: Native but unfortunately I do not have an image of it because it's in the car, haha)
5. Rings
These three rings are what I have mainly been wearing this month but I really want to find some different ones to wear as these rings are very much going out rings, I wouldn't say they're everyday rings. But either way I've gotten back into rings as in December I didn't want to wear any jewellery and now I am getting back into rings, necklaces and bracelets etc; I've been really loving rings this month.
6. The Vampire Diaries boxset
I already knew this would be in my January favourites because The Vampire Diaries is just too perfect for life basically. I have been loving this so much and I've been watching it non-stop and I am going to watch some more of it today.
I am quite surprised of how quick you actually get through it because I've watched all of season 1 and season 2 but I've only been watching it for a few weeks. So far season 3 has been amazing and I can't wait for season 4 although I have seen most of it I think, it's weird to know my obsession started at season 4! haha! But I am also buzzing for when season 5 gets back on my TV screen here in the UK! But overall, been obsessed with this!
7. Beauty Box brush set
As you can see all of these brushes have had a lot of usage through January and they will probably will throughout the rest of this year. (I am sorry that they are dirty as I haven't cleaned them yet) but they are small brushes, so they do not take up all the space in your makeup bag, they are nice and soft which feels lovely against your skin.
They were white and pink as you can see from the middle one as that is the one I use for blusher, but all the others have lost their colour. But I loved them because of the white with the pink ends as they looked so beautiful, cute and girlie. Overall, been adoring these brushes this month.
8. Maybelline: Big Eyes
I haven't had this for a long time, only the end leg of January but I absolutely love it! It is my favourite mascara at the moment (mainly because I've thrown all my others out, haha). It does everything it says it does and it lengths your lashes, what more could you want?
If you guys want to see more in detail about this product look at my review below this post.
9. This pinky highlight shade in MUA: Glamour Nights
I have absolutely adored this shade for highlighting my face: down the nose, cupids bow, chin, and the highest points of my cheeks.
I used to use Shy in MUA's: Undress Me Too pallet but I felt that it was too shimmery and made me look caked as it is an eye-shadow and they're not meant for your face. So instead, I thought I'd give this one a go and I just love it! I know it's not a proper highlighting shade but it does the same job and makes your face look really nice and glows perfectly in the light and makes your face look beautiful! I've just really been loving highlighting.
10. The Tomorrow People
Okay guys, this is probably my biggest favourite of the whole of January because this show is freaking amazing!
I decided to start watching it because I wanted to get into a new show and it was also from the creaters of The Vampire Diaries, so I thought I'd watch it and from the first episode I was obsessed! I love this show so much and it is nothing like I have ever watched and the actors and actresses in it are also amazing.
Every Wednesday is a joy for me to know this incredible show is on and I am just obsessed with The Tomorrow People. Can't wait for more series of it to come and for all the series to come out on DVD etc. This is probably my new favourite show now!
Okay guys that's all for my January favourites and hopefully I'll have some completely different ones for February. I'm not really sure what I am going to post next, I'm sure I'll figure something out. Anyway, for now, goodbye and I'll talk to you soon!
xoxoxo
Hello everyone, firstly I would like to apologise for my absence as I haven't posted for about 3 weeks. It is because I actually haven't had anything to post and it's been a slow process of finding something to post about, but now I have a couple of things to talk to you about! Anyway, on with the review.
I've needed a new mascara for about 2 weeks maybe, so I decided to give this one a try because it was new and it looked very promising on it's promotional advert.
To me, the packaging is just average and I don't have much to say about it other than it's just average.
On the back it has the two brushes; for the upper lashes it has a push up brush to push the lashes up and make them appear wider. For the lower lashes it has a tiny brush to capture each bottom lash and make them magnified.
I can tell you that both brushes do exactly that, as you can see on the image of myself on the right that my lashes appear volumised and noticeable which is everything I want in a mascara! You only need one coat of each for both upper and lower lashes to achieve maximum results.
My natural lashes are quite short and I really wanted a mascara that could almost make my lashes look false without having to buy an expensive mascara or wear false eyelashes. This mascara does exactly that, along with making both sets of lashes the same length. I used to use Maybelline: The Falsies, but unfortunately that mascara has run it's course with me because it doesn't give my lashes total length anymore whereas this mascara has.
I didn't know what to expect from this mascara, but it has to be one of the best mascara's I have ever used in a long time. I think this drugstore product could rival high end mascara, Benefit: They're real.
If you want long lashes but do not want to pay for a high end product, I recommend you buy this product asap!
£8.99 from Boots or Superdrug.
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog and today I have my first ever review for you and it is Killer Queen by Katy Perry.
“Killer Queen has been in my vocabulary since I was 15, because of the song ‘Killer Queen’ by Queen. Freddie Mercury painted the lyrics of this woman who I wanted to be. She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in. I named my company Killer Queen after those lyrics. I feel like, after all this time, it was appropriate to use that name in association with something I did. I feel like I’m falling, finally, into that woman Freddie painted.”
Killer Queen by Katy Perry was inspired by the song Killer Queen by Queen and is the third fragrance from Perry.
Firstly, personally I adore the bottle, it is said to be inspired by a queen's sceptre with the shape of a Ruby diamond. One of my favourite things about the bottle is the red ombre/gradient effect. As you can see it goes from a stunning deep ruby red colour at the top of the bottle and fades out to a dainty pure pinky shade at the tip.
Continuing about the bottle; the contrast between the royal red and shining gold shades shows off pure luxury and a sexy sophistication about this perfume.
One of the main words I think of when I smell this perfume is playful because it's a charmingly floriental fragrance. It opens up with dark berries and lush plum which blend together to make a rich floral heart. With a complimented highlight of Royal Red Velvet flower which soothes into some sensual musks with added precious woods.
Top Notes: Wild Berries, Dark Plum and Bergamot
Main Notes: Velvety Red Flower, Sambac Jasmine and Rainbow Plumeria
Base Notes: Cashmere, Patchouli and Liquid Praline
Style: Sexy, Royal and Radiant
Scent: Florential
Feel: Playful
Day/Night: Night/Evening fragrance
Hello, Happy New Year everybody! I hope everyone had a great night last night.
I went to a party in my village, we go every year and have a great time! I love it; once again this year, my best friend Chloe came along for the party. It was one hell of a night! Wont go into too much detail about the night, but now my feet are killing me! (stupid heels)
I don't know about all of you, but I still can't believe it's 2014, last night went so quick and life is going too quick. I wish time would slow down!
<--- Here's an image of my makeup, hair and outfit before I went out! You can't really see it, but the eye's were a shimmering silver and dark black smokey eye (oh so dramatic!) and I had striking red lips to go with it.
My outfit was a black bodycon sort of material underneath and then the top part had silver and pink sequins in a pattern over it (as you can see in the picture)
As for my hair; I was going to curl it but I plaited it into four sections the night before (fishtail for the under layer and a normal English brand for the top layer) which made it extremely volumised (my hair looked like a poodle when I took the plaits out, so I had to brush it down during the day, haha!) also, it was still slightly wavy anyway so I left it how it was and I loved it!
(images of me and Chloe last night)
The whole point of this post wasn't to just explain about New Year's Eve, it was to decide on some new resolutions. I know what you're all thinking, too cliché. Personally, 2013 for my resolutions didn't go down to well because my top resolution was to lose weight for my summer holiday, did it work? NO!
I think the main reason it didn't work for me was because that's what I had set myself to do and I think personally it's harder to try lose weight when you're forcing your body to work to lose some weight. However, not only that, but also because I just did some exercise and got bored of those exercises eventually. Secondly, I didn't really change my diet, I cut out snacks and had fruit instead, but I didn't change my portion size for dinners and desserts. By the time summer came I had gained more weight than rather lost any. Therefore, overall I didn't achieve what I wanted because I couldn't be bothered in the end.
So, what am I going to do this year? This year I have some new resolutions that will hopefully be easier to stick to instead of last years main one.
1. Get fit
What I mean by get fit, is simply to become more healthy. I rarely eat fruit or drink any water at the moment, therefore I feel like my body inside is also unhealthy as well as the outside. Therefore I need to cut out the coke and chocolate and try and swap it for water and fruit. I also need to do more exercise, not just for my well being, but also for college (e.g. physical theatre, you need to become physically fit).
2. Never waste a moment
After I lost Jeffrey (my cat) at the end of last year (aka, 24th of December 2013) and I loved him so much and feel like I didn't make the most of the moments I had with him because the vet said to us he'd have two years left in him, but unfortunately he didn't. Therefore, I need to make every moment count with the people I love and make sure they know you love and care for them because when you need them the most, it could be too late. But not just making moments with people, I mean every moment: making memories, loving life, making the most of every day, go with the flow (as we all know when things are overly planned it never works out).
3. Be Happy and Confident
I think this will be my final solution this year, my problem is, I let things get me down sometimes which ruins my happiness which means I need to let go and forget about everyone else, as long as I am happy that's the main thing! But also, to just be confident in my own skin; with who you are and what you are because no one is you and they will never be like you. Finally, along the being happy front, just be happy with who you are, what you've got in your life and stop wanting what other people have and appreciate what you do have.
Okay everyone thank you for reading my New Year's post if you did, I hope it helped you with some resolutions, although you should be trying to be better everyday, not just when another year comes around.
Anyway, I'm hoping that 2014 is a much better year than 2013 for me personally and we shall soon see where it takes us.
Bye for now everyone and I'll be back blogging very soon (possibly tomorrow, hehe!)
Lots of love on the new year
