Sparkle Like Gold Magic: Review

Gold Magic by Little Mix
 Perfume Review

'A spellbinding but naturally beautiful Eau de Parfum; Gold Magic is the debut perfume by Little Mix. Surprisingly understated yet complex, it’s a true reflection of the band and the irresistible chemistry between them.'

Firstly, I actually love the bottle because it's really understated and classy. I like that you can see the perfume through it and with it being gold related; gold is a naturally beautiful and precious metal to the world which is what I feel this perfume reminds me of at first glance.

The only thing I disliked was the little tag you get around the top that says 'LM' to show that it's by Little Mix. I felt like that was an unnecessary touch as it made a classy bottle look tacky so I took it off of my bottle.

This perfume is avaliable in 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml - so they've made it in a good variety of sizes. I have the 30ml as you can see above. But either way, it looks gorgeous sitting on my shelf. With it being transparent it hits the light beautifully and it will go with any colour theme you've got going on in your room.

It comes with your classic spritz and press down to get the perfume out. When you spray it, it bursts out without any resistant from the nozzle.

From one spray you can already get hints of the top notes coming through and before you can even tell what they are you already know it's a super fresh and light smelling fragrance.

The first element that hits my senses is lemon. I find lemon is sometimes very over powering if not mixed with other details. After the lemon has captured our attention we are then led onto the mix with watermelon to calm the scent down but also to keep that fresh smell lingering on our skin.

Eventually the lemon fizzles away into our wrists, necks, and where ever else you lovely people spray your perfume. The watermelon still lingers but now we have violet coming into play. Now violet is a scent that is know for being flirty as the fragrance of violet comes and goes as an element within violet is present in flowers. Which causes us to smell the fragrant for moments at a time.

So with these current scents that have been identified in this perfume it is clear to see it is very fruity and flirty which automatically points to extremely girly.

This perfume is definitely a spring and summer fragrance because of the lemon, watermelon, and violet scents.

It's light, fruity, and flirty which we associate with girls who are between the ages of 13 - 18 years of age.

Even though I say if you like a certain thing you can wear it regardless of marketing strategies. But it definitely is particularly aimed at younger women than older women.

And it's one hundred percent a day fragrance and not a evening fragrance.

One of the main things I love is how classy and understated the bottle is and then when you spray the perfume it is a burst of fruity aromas and refreshing scents as you don't expect it from the look of the bottle.

I think from celebrity perfume's, it shows you don't have to create a bottle to state what it is like inside which adds to the surprise when you spray the perfume. It looks like it could be up there with the designer bottled perfumes. Goes to show that the overall look of celebrity perfumes are jumping up the scale.
