Holiday Haul!

Hello my lovelies, yes, here it is, my holiday haul!!! I came back home from holiday on Saturday and I was going to post this on Sunday but I just wasn't in the mood to write it. But my holiday was really good, it was hot everyday, the weather was always sunny and I finally got a tan! Praise da Lord! As I am as pale as a snowflake, so to finally have a tan it is a miracle! But moving on with the haul, here is the majority of things I got from my holiday this year!

Jewellery

I'll start with jewellery; I didn't buy loads of jewellery but what I have bought I absolutely love. This ring set is from Newlook  in the size small and these were £4.99. I have to wear them on my ring fingers as they're a little tight on my middle fingers. But, I absolutely love them because I have nothing like these rings and they're very quirky and definitely every day rings which is another reason why I really love them. The minute I bought them I wore them every day on holiday.

On my ring finger there is the Celtic symbol and a half moon, on my middle finger is the Illuminate sign (but I am not apart of the Illuminate, don't panic!), and finally on my index finger is a ring with a star in a circle and two smaller Celtic symbols either side of it.

This bracelet set is one of my new favourite things ever because it has a dove on it! I think doves look beautiful and they symbolise peace; they're just these string bracelets that you can adjust to your wrist size and unfortunately the blue one came loose and I don't know how to fix it but the dove one is still perfect. I got these from a store called Q&D which is a store that sells pretty much everything. These bracelets though were such a bargain as they were only £1.00!

This is the last jewellery item I got and I absolutely love it! I wanted the Pandora princess crown ring for ages but I didn't have the money and this one isn't exactly the same but it's a princess crown and it was a hell of a lot cheaper. It's got diamanté in the row underneath the pointed parts and also in the small pointed parts that you can see above. I really feel like a princess when I wear it and it is beautiful. I got this from ASDA for £5.00!

Nails

Of course I couldn't come back without at least one nail polish! But these ones are a new brand in Wilkinsons called Essence and they're only £1.79 and you would think that they'll be rubbish as they're cheap. But if you use a really good topcoat they stay on and don't chip. The one I am currently using is Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat which makes your nails rock hard and your nail varnish lasts a long time. But anyway, the colours I got are: Off To Miami (coral shade), A Hint Of Love (red/pinky glitter shade), and Let's Get Lost (blue shade) which is what nails are currently painted in. I really like these polishes as they're nice quality for the price and you should all try some out!

Some more nail varnishes now and these are from H&M and they were only £1.99! These are glitter polishes and I adore glitter polishes because they usually don't take too long to try and you can easily layer them over other colours or build them over the same glitter to create a stronger colour pay off. But I really love these two colours, the blue toned glitter is called Just Blue Much which is one of the colours I have on my nails right now. And the golden/pink toned glitter is called Extra Vaganza.

Shoes

The first pair of shoes I got were some black wedges with an ankle strap and they have a tribal coloured pattern sort of thing. I really like these shoes as they're easy to walk in and they look adorable. These are from Newlook and only £11.00 in the sale.

Here is a close up of the shoes pattern and how they look on my feet.

These are also from Newlook and they were £19.99. The minute I saw them I fell in love with them! I've nearly broken my ankle in them about fifty times! But, I think that was because they're sort of platform sandals and you have to be careful walking over uneven surfaces, or stones, cobbles in them etc. But apart from that, they're very comfy, don't rub at all as long as you don't walk long distance (stupid Katie), and they're dressy but can still be worn casually. I really love them and these could be my new favourite summer shoes.

How they look on my feet.

Shorts

I adore these shorts because they feel extremely soft which can only mean they'll be super comfy! These are bed shorts they're not everyday shorts but I absolutely love them! I got a top to go with them but it isn't the proper matching top as I prefer t-shirts to sleep in than vest tops. But you can get a matching vest top with these. But I love the colour and the little lace part at the bottom. These are from Primark and were £3.00!

This is another pair of the same shorts but just in grey and white. I didn't get a top to go with these as I couldn't find one in the shop but I can just wear whatever top with them. But they're exactly the same as the first pair just a different colour and these were also from Primark and were £3.00!

Tops/T-shirts/Jumpers

First up is this gorgeous grey jumper with white lace on the shoulders! I adore this, the minute I saw it I had to have it because I could wear it in summer if I wanted to because it's very thin and it's also 3/4 length on the arms. I can see me wearing this during September/October as it is slightly going colder but I can't express how much beauty this jumper beholds. I bought this from Tesco for £8.00!
Here is the beautiful lace detailing on the shoulder.

Here is one of my favourite items I bought because it is a cupcake top! You only ever find these kind of things in Primark like when I found my Little Mermaid top. But I love this top as it is extremely cute and you could wear it with anything. But I cannot wait to wear this! This top is from Primark and was £5.00!

This top is one of my new favourite tops and I have no idea why. I just love it because I have nothing like it and it's beautiful. This is from H&M and it was between £5-8 as I cannot remember how much it was as I've already worn it.

Next is this vest string top from Tesco and it was £9.00. It is just this purple, white, and green pattern and it's quite Aztec; it flows at the bottom and has a small draw string tie.

Here is another top from Tesco and it is just a flowy and loose and has a palm tree print on which makes it super summery. It is also very bright which makes it even more summery. But this was £8.00!

Next up is a navy blue/black top with a henna like pattern on it and I mainly got it because I just really liked the pattern and it's a comfy casual t-shirt. This is from Primark and it was £4.00!

Here is a close up of the pattern.

Another new jumper and I will wear this in autumn/winter because it is a bit too thick to wear at this current weather and temperature. But it just a black jumper with New York 91 on it and I just really liked it as it is quite roomy and comfy and I'm really looking forward to wearing it. This is from H&M and was £5.99!

This is my new pyjama top to go with the blue shorts that were posted further up because I prefer oversized tops in bed/t-shirts as I feel they're comfier than vests. But I really like this top as I find it really cute because the background colour is like a dark sky with white mist in and then there's white stars around the words and it pretty much represents night time and sleeping. This is from Primark and was £4.00!

Here is my next top from Primark. It is just a long pink coral top with a necklace attached around the collar which is a two toned colours of silver and gold. I think it would look awesome with black jeans and black Doc Martens. This was £8.00!

This is probably my favourite jumper I own now because it is extremely girly and I am a very girly girl most of the time. I love it because of how the roses look as pink is my favourite colour and I adore roses, I just think they're so beautiful. But this jumper is very thing which means I can wear it in the summer if I wanted to as well as the autumn/winter. It is flowy and not clingy and it feels so soft and comfy against your skin. Ugh, I can't wait to wear it! This is from H&M and was £9.99!

Here is a close up of the rose pattern.

Here is the final jumper and it is also from H&M and it was also £5.99! This one is just grey with purple and pink flowers with green leaves/stems and I really like it. It's a toned down girly item as the grey is a netruel colour but the purple and pink flowers still show the element of girliness. I'm really looking forward to wearing this.

Dresses

Here is my first dress which is from Matalan and this one was £7.00 in their summer sale. It is just a dress that is long at the back and short at the front and it is extremely silky and flowy. But as it is very flowy, never wear it when it is super windy as it blows about quite a lot. But these are great for holiday/ the beach in the day time. Wearing one of these dresses literally feels like you're wearing nothing.

Close up of the palm tree pink, purple, orange, and coral pattern.

Here is a dress that is exactly the same material and flowyness and length, it is just in a different pattern and colour.

Close up of the zebra white, blue, and lighter blue pattern.

I also got a black kimono from Newlook as I really wanted a black one but I just forgot to take a photo of it.
I also bought a new mascara: Falsies Flared.
I got a new Maybelline Baby Lips: Electro - Pink Shock.
I also got a new I love...body moisturiser in Mango and Papaya.

Okay everyone, and that is everything I bought from my holiday. Although I had a wonderful holiday last week I am happy to be home and in my own bed! I am thinking about doing a summer look book for August as the main hot part of summer is over as in August it starts to get cooler at night but it is still hot in the day! So I am thinking about doing an August look book my lovelies.

I hope you're all having a lovely summer and you're soaking up the sun, going out with friends, spending time with family, eating loads of ice cream and aren't thinking too much about school and college! My next post will most likely be my everyday summer makeup tutorial!

Thank you all very much for reading and I will talk to you all soon,

Loads of love,

- Katie

Holiday Packing!!!

Hello my lovelies, I am very sorry that I haven't posted in almost a month, I've been pretty busy with the ending of college, but the first year of Performing Arts at college has been a massive up and down roller-coaster of happy times, angry times, sad times, and lovely times with the most incredible group of people ever. We may argue and hate one another at times but at the end of the day we're like a family and I don't know what I'd do without any of them. But for the end of the first year, we achieved our grades overall and I got Distinctions and Merits which I was over the moon about and I am finally happy I am getting grades I deserve. The next grade is to find out my maths gcse retake, fingers crossed!

But, besides hanging out with friends this summer holiday (I've already been off for a month, oh my god!) I am going to Great Yarmouth tomorrow until Saturday and I am really looking forward to it, as I haven't been there in about 3/4 years. But everyone, here is an insight to the clothes, shoes, makeup, toiletries etc, that I am taking on holiday. But, I'll probably buy half a new wardrobe whilst I am down there.

Clothing

These are my new short shorts from Matalan that my mum recently bought me. They're so cute and comfortable and I am bloody excited to wear them!

My favourite shorts I think I've ever owned. My super stretchy ones from Dorothy Perkins. They are extremely stretchy and comfortable and they're perfect for summer!

Finally, one of the cutest pairs of shorts I've ever owned. My cute floral, flowy shorts from Newlook; perfect for spring and summer!

Next up is just a plain white sleeveless top to go with patterned shorts and skirts and this was also from Newlook. I also have a black one just like this for the same purpose.

One of my newest tops that I absolutely love. It's just a colourful baggy t-shirt which is very comfy and extremely cute! This was from River Island in their recent sale.

This top I also have in mint green, but I saw they did one in red and I fell in love with it, so I had to have it!

It is thin material which means it's great for summer, however it's not flowy as it has a tight part at the bottom but it doesn't cling to your body even though it has that. This was from Newlook.

This is one of my favourite tops of all time, I wear it all year round as I find you can style it in different ways to suit the season you're in. I love this top because they pattern so pretty, I've had it for a year now and I'm still not bored of it. Again, it has quite thin material but isn't flowy but still doesn't cling to your body much. I got this from Primark.

I have this floral summery blouse from H&M and I absolutely love it. It just screams summer islands with all of the blue and green coloured leaves and the pink, purple and orange flowers. This is thin material, flowy and very comfortable.

My mum bought this top for me from Matalan along with the shorts and I am in love with it! It is extremely comfy and she got it in a size bigger for me because in Matalan a lot of their clothes are quite petite but this fits really nicely. It is super long and looks adorable with the white shorts from Matalan.

This is a new top from H&M and I am going to wear it with cropped black leggings most likely because it is flowy, has a nice high back part which exposes my shoulders and suits my figure really well.

This skirt was from Newlook in the sale and I love skater skirts. They're easy to pair with any kind of top and shoes and they're nice and comfy.

A new favourite of mine is this new skirt from Matalan and the pattern is gorgeous and it's completely me in one piece of clothing.

This next item I bloody love, it's from Matalan! It is my new play suit and my only play suit that actually looks nice and fits now. The pattern is flower looking like blobs and it has a bit of string to tie up at the front and it'll be perfect for the beach or just sunbathing and I just love it so much!

I've had this for about a year or two and I've still not worn it (oops) but I really like it! It was from a previous holiday on a corner clothes shop and I feel bad that I've never worn it. The material is thin and has a salmon pink on with white hearts and it's shorter at the front and long at the back and it's just a nice flowy dress.

Of course it's my kimonos! If you know me personally you will know that I love, love, love kimonos. I'm obsessed with them!

Here on the left we have my newest kimono from H&M and its black with floral red and pink flowers! Absolutely love it!

Then on the right we have just a plain mint green one, which is my favourite colour now (but I will always love pink) and it's very thin material and it's flowy, doesn't make you super hot and it's a beautiful colour.

On the right we have my blue patterned henna kind of pattern and I really love it because it is darker which means it could be worn later on in the year if it's not too cold.

On the right is my first ever kimono! I still love it today and it is my most favourite one. It is so summery and floral and I love it. Both of these ones are from Newlook as is the mint green one above.

Here is my coral blazer! This is the most comfiest blazer I have ever owned in my life. It is so soft and it's not thin material but it's great if you're out in the evening in the summer when the nights are a little cooler. Plus, it's an awesome summer colour!

Here we have my little black dress as every girl is supposed to own one. But this one is from Newlook's tall section and it's lovely: comfy, flowy, not tight and it doesn't show any unwanted area. It comes to my knee also which is good as I'm pretty tall and a lot of clothes look short on my legs. But I love this dress, it is simple and lovely.

Crochet lace middle

This is my new favourite dress as this colour really suits me, it always has. It is dead sweet and it doesn't cling to my body to show off the areas I don't want to show off and this was from Newlook. It's gorgeous and I love it.

This cardigan/ throw over I have worn ever since I bought it from H&M. It is perfect for those days when it's warm but has a cold breeze in the air as it is a type of lace flower pattern with small gaps in to keep it cool. It goes with anything you wear which is perfect if you need a summer throw over with an outfit.

This is my newest dress in my wardrobe, I got it in the Newlook sale for £8.00 and I love it! I have a grey one similar that I adore, so I know I am going to adore this one. I am wearing it tomorrow to go down to Great Yarmouth in and it feels soft and comfy and just a lovely summer piece.

This is my favourite jumper! I love how it is a summer jumper but I am thinking of wearing this on the cooler summer nights when we go and see the fireworks late at night and it is extremely oversized and comfortable. I can even wear it in winter when it isn't summer anymore because of how cosy it is! I fell in love with the pattern and the baggyness of it because oversized clothes are my life pretty much. This was also from H&M.

My sky and clouds top is also coming along because it is beautiful, I love it! The tassels are really cute. It also shows off a little bit of tummy but I wear my shorts high waisted to cover that up as it's not really a crop top. However, I don't mind if my stomach shows a little in this as the tassels hide it slightly and it's not clingy either. It's also not full on cropped where my tummy would hang out as I don't have the tummy for cropped tops. Also from Newlook.

My final items of clothing are my pyjamas! Now, my top as you can see is from when I went to my queens tour; Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour! (she was amazing!!!!!) and my short shorts are from Newlook and they're just blue lace with a blue birds on and a white background. I love the short shorts from Newlook as they feel like underwear and they're comfy as hell.

Shoes

Here are my cute sandals from Primark, these have given me hell for the whole time I have owned them. They've given me blisters, redness, hurt my feet you name it. But finally, I have discovered to wear them looser and they are perfect. They don't give me blisters anymore and they're so cute and now we're friends and I love them!

Here we have my lovely pink shoes from Newlook, sorry that they're dirty. They've had a lot of wear since I bought them. I love these shoes, they're easy to wear, they're comfy and adorable!

My mint green sandals with diamanté on the straps. I will most likely wear these on the beach as they're plastic and if sand gets on the it can come off easily. Plus, they're a lovely colour and slip on and off my feet easily.

The straps and buckles
Here are my favourite high heels of all time! They are very comfy and they expose a lot of your foot but I feel classy when I wear them and they're easy to walk in.

They make my feet look beautiful as my feet are one of my best assets. But these shoes are gorgeous and if you can get your hands on a pair, I really recommend it! Plus, they're from Newlook!

Finally we have my mint green shoes from Newlook! Once again, really adorable, easy to walk in and comfortable! I love them!

My coral flower earrings are from my girlie Jess, and they're from Accessorize. The daisy earrings are from River Island.

And finally to match my blue ring, are my beautiful earrings and necklace which are all from Accessorize.
